Disinfectant wipes are a must during this COVID pandemic.

But if you didn’t stock up, as it began to spread across the country, you may not have the luxury of having them on hand.

So now what?

Well, we have the perfect solution for you!

DIY Disinfectant wipes

These DIY disinfectant wipes are cheaper than the disposable disinfectant wipes

…..AND they are re-usable 😉

They also take very little time and effort to make.

Here is the recipe for these easy, inexpensive disinfectant wipes.

To make them you will need:

It’s also helpful to have these supplies:

  • empty plastic box (to use as a temporary reservoir)
  • plastic gallon container (to mix the bleach with water)
  • gloves (to keep your hands from too much exposure)

Begin making these DIY disinfectant wipes with a stack of the thin washcloths.

Roll each one and place in the empty plastic box.

Measure 1/3 cup bleach into a gallon of water.

Then pour the bleach mixture over the thin, rolled washcloths.

Put on gloves, if you have them, and squeeze each thin, rolled washcloth.

Squeeze each one just enough to rid of the excess water, but not too much where it will dry out.

Place each squeezed, thin, rolled washcloth in the seal-able food storage box

…and you are ready to go!

When you have used them all up, wash, but no need to dry.

Just take them straight out of the washer and repeat the process again.
