When hiring a home cleaning service, there are many questions you should ask.

 What is included with your home cleaning service?

 Why do I need an initial cleaning?

Your initial cleaning is the starting point for a cleaner, healthier home. We focus on build up and neglected areas of the home. You may also add our a’ La Carte Cleaning Services to choose areas you want cleaned with extra attention.

 

 How often should I use a home cleaning service?

 Most clients request a weekly or bi-weekly, but it depends on how much cleaning you would like to do yourself between your cleaning services. We also offer “Just kitchens, bathrooms, and floors” cleaning service to tide you over in between services.

 

 Do I have to sign up for reoccurring service or sign a contract?

No, you are not obligated to sign up for our reoccurring services and there are no contracts required with any of our services.  However, maintenance cleanings, on re-occurring basis, ensures the same cleaning rate.   

 

 Will I always have the same home cleaning service professional?

 Yes, we know how important it is for our clients to have the same cleaning professional. And we do professionally train all of our staff with the same, organized, cleaning procedures.

 

 How do I prepare my home for the home cleaning service professional?

 It is to your advantage to clean clutter and messes prior to your cleaning so we may clean all areas, thus optimizing your cleaning. But if you don’t feel like it, that’s absolutely fine too. We do straighten light messes but if it takes our cleaning professionals a little longer, your fees for service may reflect that.  But please don’t feel like you have to clean before we clean. If you don’t feel like it, then you might very well need us the most! We’ve seen it all and we pride ourselves on our professionalism.

 

 Do I need to be home at the time of service?

 No, most clients are at work, school, or out-and-about when we service their homes.  We arrange, with you, on how enter your home at the time of service. For reoccurring services, it is typical to use a copy of the house key, that we securely store for Serene Cleaning purposes only, or have a security code issued to us.

 

 Are you insured & bonded?

 Yes, we take our client’s trust very seriously. We are fully insured and bonded protecting your home from theft and accidents.  At your request, we can send you a certificate validating our insurance. Also, all of our employees have background and drug screenings.

 

 Do I need to provide the home cleaning service with cleaners and equipment?

No, we supply every product and piece of equipment needed to guarantee a clean home for you.  The only items we will need you to provide are clean linens if we are changing your bedding, clean towels to neatly hang, and garbage bags to take out the trash.

 

 Do you have a guarantee?

 Yes, if you are not happy with your cleaning experience, contact us within 24 hours and we will fix it right away at no additional cost to you. Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us!

 

 How do I pay?

 We accept check, credit card, or Paypal, whichever is easier for you. Please remember, payment is due when your cleaning service is complete but please do not leave your payment at the time of service.

 

 Do I tip my maid?

 That is up to you. If you want to tip your home cleaning service professional for doing a great job, then sure! But please do not feel obligated to tip. Tipping is not contingent on a professional cleaning experience with Serene Clean.

 

 Since you use natural & organic products, are you more expensive than other home cleaning services?

 Do you have a cancellation policy?

 Yes, we understand that life happens and sometimes this can mean rescheduling your service.  We do require that you give us at least a 24 hour notice or a cancellation fee will apply.

 

 Do you use vinegar in your cleaning products?

 No, though vinegar is a natural and environmentally safe product, it is fairly strong acid with a 2.2 pH and can damage many surfaces around the home. With our client’s home to protect, we do not use vinegar, lemon, toothpaste, salt, baking soda, borax, etc. to clean with.

 

 Do you cater to households with allergies?

 Yes, our procedures were created with the allergy sufferers in mind and we know how important it is to clean without creating allergy attacks.  Our water filtration Rainbow vacuum, and our high quality micro-cloths, ensures dust to be trapped and removed giving you a dust free environment.  

 

 Do you have a gift certificates?

 Yes, we know everyone LOVES a clean house and giving it as a gift is a thoughtful and creative way to bless someone.
